A superb piece of Australian rugby league memorabilia, personally hand-signed by Darren Lockyer, one of the greatest players of the modern era.
This striking action photograph captures Lockyer carrying the ball in the famous Brisbane Broncos purple and gold, with his large autograph prominently positioned across the lower section of the image.
Lockyer spent his entire senior club career with Brisbane, making a club-record 355 NRL appearances between 1995 and 2011. He was part of four Broncos premiership-winning teams – 1997, 1998, 2000 and 2006 – and won the Clive Churchill Medal as man of the match in the 2000 Grand Final.
His achievements extended far beyond club football. Lockyer represented Queensland in 36 State of Origin matches and played 59 Tests for Australia, captaining the Kangaroos on 38 occasions. He also won the prestigious Golden Boot as the world's leading international player in both 2003 and 2006.
His standing in the sport was recognised with induction into both the NRL Hall of Fame and the Sport Australia Hall of Fame.
